We couldn’t have asked for a more kind-hearted, relaxed couple to photograph for our first wedding of 2015. Despite an utter downpour of rain for the majority of their wedding day, you would have thought it was 70 and sunny outside from Melissa and Latham’s smiles. They were so patient with us as we called some audibles and had to move shooting locations at the last minute because of the rain. Their ceremony was held at the gorgeous St. Elias Maronite Church here in Birmingham, just like Melissa’s brother Harrison’s wedding back in 2013. The newlyweds selected the newly-minted Florentine Building for their reception, and it was the perfect choice for a night of dancing and laughter! The Fountain City Players provided the night’s entertainment, and the beautiful florals were created by Vince Gray.
