After getting to spend a day this past spring photographing Jessica and Daniel in Montreat, N.C., I couldn’t wait to get started on their wedding day! These two chose to lovely Douglas Manor for their ceremony and reception, and being that this was our first time shooting there … we were so excited to shoot at a new location! The weather Saturday was PERFECT for photographs, and oh-so-comfortable for the bride and groom and their family and friends. After saying their “I Do’s” down by the water, Jessica and Daniel celebrated in style with a full Jim N’ Nicks pig roast, plenty of yard games, and dancing courtesy of Danny at Feel the Beat. The gorgeous florals for the day were provided by Dorothy McDaniel, and couldn’t have been a better color selection for a fall wedding! Above all, the newlyweds were kind enough to give us ten minutes during the reception for some wonderful sunset portraits … and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
